Depping for a country band

Really enjoyed performing with Harmonica Lewinsky & The Highway Patrol the other night — cowboy hat and all — at the Northumberland Arms in Brentford. Great fun playing with some fine musicians, including John Davis on steel guitar and Howard Tibble on drums.

It’s heartening to see that proper music venues still exist, supported by a vibrant local live music community.

As it was my first gig with this excellent band, I inevitably made a couple of minor slip-ups — but the appreciative crowd loved the rocking, honky-tonkin’ repertoire.
