Good turnout at outdoor gig yesterday afternoon in Colnbrook went surprisingly well despite the brutal temperature of 32 deg Celsius. Even the mixing desk was burning hot to the touch.
To quote John our drummer ‘I’m scunnered, with a’ this hot weather!’
Adequate breaks and keeping hydrated were the key albeit The J45s were slowly turning into the ‘Baked 45s’.
We all drank a lot of water, however for me, the ice-cold draught Moretti was a welcomed refreshment.
Thanks to the locals who offered to buy the band refreshments and it was great catching up with some old friends.
