Turned out to be a good J45s gig last night at Magpie & Crown in Brentford albeit crammed in a corner.
Pub seemingly in blessed isolation, amid a huge redevelopment which made parking a nightmare and is full of nooks and crannies with outdoor space very eclectic,
The crowd were a great range of young and old, welcoming, and characterful with some uttering the magic words
"I want to buy you a drink!”
Bonus there was a Tip Bucket for the band which accumulated generous donations
Apparently, the pub wants us back so looking forward to the next one!
