One of our better performances last night at The Excelsior in Aldershot.
The building has an interesting history as it was originally built as Turkish baths for Army officers. Just down the road was the now-defunct Aldershot Brewery, which brewed its famous Excelsior Bitter.
There was a moment of panic when our drummer, Johnny, was nowhere to be seen just ten minutes before kick-off. Then my phone buzzed with a text: "I'm in the chippy!" Trust Johnny to squeeze in a fish and chips before a gig!
In fact, his pre-show food habit inspired us to write a song about him called "Johnny."
